TCA Disaster Relief Grants - July 2026 - TX Floods

Overview: Licensed and certified professional counselors, as well as master’s and doctoral students enrolled in counselor preparation programs who were impacted by the July 2026 floods have an opportunity to apply for a grant from TCA. The TCA Finance Committee has created a special disaster relief opportunity to help those in affected areas replace or repair essential resources.

Purpose: Grants to help professional counselors and graduate students enrolled in counselor preparation programs replace or repair resources needed to resume or rebuild their counseling practices or continue their studies.

Requirements:

• Applicants must live and/or work in affected communities.
• Funds must be applied to replace or repair counseling resources lost due to the storms and power outages.

Process:

• Applicants must complete and submit the application below by August 20, 2026.
• TCA Finance Committee will review the applications to select recipients and determine grant amounts for a maximum distribution of $10,000.
• Applicants will be notified of grant awards as quickly as possible.
• The decisions of the TCA Finance Committee are final.
